The Radiation Horror!!!
'UK schools ban WiFi due to health concern'. That's the titel of an articel from slashdot today. Obviously the theachers and the parents are concern about the radiation. They think that WiFi maybe the root cause of a host problems of simple fatigue to the possibility of cancers. Further in the article said Vivienne Baron , who bringing up Sebastian, her ten-year-old grandson, that there are no real evidence has been produced that this new technology is safe in the long term. By the way, you can read the full article here.
So, what do you think?

Do you have WiFi? Well, I do have WiFi. I think it's a fantastic technology. It's a little bit scary isn't it? Especially that part when they say that WiFi 'can' cause cancer. I always think that prevention is better than cure. So, the only solution is to ban ALL WiFi!!..... NOT
People, it's true that prevention better is than cure. And It's also true that there are no evidence has been produced that this new tecnology is safe in long term. BUT, there is also no evidence that WiFi is not safe in long term. We simply don't know that.
Yes we could ban WiFi. Why not? It's prevention, isn't it? Why? Because WiFi works with dangerous horrifying 2.4 GHz radiowave. That's why! Well people, there are a lot devices around us that works with radiowave. Let see.. hmmm, Microwave, cordless phone, cell phone (all three works with 2.4 GHz radiowave), radio, cordless headphone, bluetooth, TV (correct me if i'm wrong) and many other things. There is too many devices around us that works with this technology. We can ban WiFi, but there is no use to ban WiFi if we don't ban the others.
Besides, there is a lot of things that can cause cancer, just like the sun. Let's ban it all!!!

Stupid solitaire addict
Yeah I know what you all think about solitaire. It's boring, not cool, doesn't have great graphic, and the people who play this game, are only some civil officer who dont have anything to do and of course grandma's. I don't care. I love it! Yes, you heard it clearly. I'm really addicted to it.
Anyway, I was at college two days ago. We have a projectgroup and our assigment is to make a digital thermometer. Finaly, after 1.5 months designing the circuit and learning microcontroller, it was nearly finished. The hardware has been made and the program is already been written. The only thing we must do, is programming the microcontroller. Well, I thought it would be simple.

In Dordrecht I rode my bike home. On the way back, I suddenly realized that I didn't have the plastic bag with all the project shit's with me.
SHIT!!!!!
It was still at the Rotterdam Blaak station! NoOoOoOoooo!! I was so intens playing solitaire when the train came. :, (
Yeah, I lost the bag. But I still have two weeks till the deadline. I will make it better than that shit on the plastic bag. ROOAARR!!! YEAAHH!!

Operation 'kill the pinguin'
I read this afternoon on slashdot that Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer thursday declared his belief that the Linux operating system infringes on Microsoft's intellectual property. I'm sorry Steve but I must laugh my ass off. LOLOLOL. It's ridiculeus! Come on Steve, Everyone know that even in concept everything in Windows, even Windows itself is borrowed from other people works. But at the same time, I feel concern about what he said. For the reader who didn't know the news about the partnership between Microsoft and Novell : Microsoft announced two weeks ago a partnership with Novell. Microsoft will pay 440 Million USD per year contract. Many people thought that the battle between Microsoft and Linux is over and Linux won. It's very promising statement for 'us' the open source users. But in contrary, the battle has just begun, I think.

Just like I said before, I feel concern about what Steve said. Why? Well in the interview [Seattle Intelligencer] he said that Linux uses the intellectual property of Microsoft and that's why someone (linux users, distro's) must pay the bills. Well, Novell (as a partner of Microsoft) pays 40 Million USD to Microsoft for having the right to use Microsoft's intellectual property. If Microsoft can do that with Novell, Microsoft can do it with ALL! Linux distros. If the other distros refuse to pay, Microsoft will ondoubtely sue them. Well, they didn't have to worry about the evidence. The SUSE-maker (Novell) sold in fact the evidence that Linux have debt on Microsoft by giving them 40 Million USD per year.
I think, about couple of years from now we will hear that Microsoft sues all the major distros, not to make money from them but because the cost of the process could make them bankrupt. I really hope that my prediction is wrong.

-until-the-late-hours- conversations
After staying here for almost two and a half months, my sister went today back to Indonesia.
I will miss the -until-the-late-hours- conversations with my funny sister
The prologue
Avé people!
Welcome to the gettho of 'absolutly no idea'. I can't believe that i'm finaly starting a weblog! The reason why I starting a blog is maybe not so noble as some people would have. Some people do it to make the world better. Few other people (including myself) are just trying to make their English better. I must admit that my English communication skills are disastrous. Both written and verbal. :D
That's why you will find several inaccuracy in my text. But if you find some errors, please let me know.
Further, I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to blog. Many people that I know blog their own life. But living in a small town like Dordrecht (somewhere in Holland) is not exactly exiting. It's boring for the most part of the year. Well, here is some picture of Dordrecht I took yesterday.

This picture above is the major plain where the most evenement is organized. Like the saturday market and that kind of things.

This one is the silhouette of 'Onze lieve vrouwe' brigde. Well, this brigde lead to another city which is called Zwijndrecht. Anyway, This brigde is called 'Zwijndrecht's bridge' by the people of Dordrecht. And the people from Zwijndrecht calls it 'Dordrecht's bridge'. LOL Is this bridge sooo ugly that no one wants it?

And finaly, the harbour.
Hmmm, I still have no idea what I'm talking about. Ah, whatever. nobody cares.
