Actually I didn't want to answer that. I know if I begin to talk to her, I will ended up chatting with her for hours and it was a little bit shame to stay inside on a beautiful day like that. If you ever visited Holland, you should know what I mean. Normally we only see the sun for about 2 minutes per
year! Rain, dark clouds, sex shops and tulip are the only things you can see around here.
<13:34:43> Plastic Bag has buzzed you!She has buzzed me again. I felt a little bit guilty actually for having that thought. After all, I hadn't spoken to her for months. I was curious how she had been doing all these time. So I decided to reply it. It went something like this:
<13:34:57> The nameless one : Hey Plastic Bag, Long time no see.
<13:35:01> The nameless one : How's life?
<13:35:06> Plastic Bag : The nameless one!! Ha you're online! I miss you sooo much :* I miss you just like the sun misses the moon. I can't help it. I
need to speak to you. About -- love...
<13:35:12> Plastic Bag : But anyway, life's treating me good. Especially right now, because of you - my eternal love. ^_^
<13:35:20> The nameless one : Uhm, yeah.. whatever.
...
Okay, I heard what you're thinking. It didn't go
exactly like this. I -- uhm, it's.. it's..
mostly true.
So, we talked about a lot of things that day. She told me about her trip to Bali with her friends. About the beautiful beaches, warm sands and crazy parties. She sent me some of the photo's and at that moment I realised I hadn't been there for quite a long time.
Even though I was born and raised in Indonesia, I didn't go to Bali so often. The last time my family and I went to Bali, we went by car. It was a 2000 km long journey from Jakarta to Denpasar. We only saw rice fields and beaches on the way to Bali. If we were thirsty, we just stopped somewhere and drink juice of wild sugarcane we extracted by ourself. If we were tired we just sleep on the back seat. We were hopping from one city to another until we reached the eastern tip of Java. The trip took five days.
On the earliest morning of the sixth day, we were there. The magnificent island of Bali. The last piece of the Hindu Majapahit empire (1293–1520 AD). It was a little bit cold at the time of the day. When we went further, I was stunning from what I saw.
There were two things I remembered clearly. First of all, they had wooden pylons and secondly, the traditional woman worn nothing on their upper body. I was ten years old and I found heaven.
